TING THE PRADU CHAMPION!!!
So both me and My dad agree. Ong-Bak is beyond awesome. Quite a miracle Mui Thai flick from some great old school actionmovie loving freaks. Watching Tony Jaa makes me train that much harder. He performs everything beautifully. Glad my dad loved that movie as much as I did. It's good to see that he hasn't changed much. Hopefully, I will be heading out to see everyone soon. Everythings just getting bettter and better lately.
Also Transporter 2(Luc Besson and Corey Yuen keep up the good work!)
And right on cue Domino drops a fatty D-bomb. How bloody cute.....
Okay, all clean! YAY FELINE PINE!!!
October is here and it's awesome as usual. I love halloween time. Hopefully, I'll see mad scary movies and hit up Olivia and Chris's Halloween party this year. I still need to acquire my Ramones gear.
Had a blast with some bookstore cats at El Rodeo on monday. They seem like great bunch of people and I always come away having a great time with them.
Things of interest to your nerdy ass:
I don't know why I didn't really think of it before but last week I got into looking for music videos that I used to record and watch back when I was a youngn' and I found some great websites with a great variety of videos of today and way back in the day. I finally got to show Martha Rockwell's Somebody's watching me and I found Unkle's Rabbit in your headlights video. We even got caught up in watching those goofy Alicia Silverstone Aerosmith vids as well. Kick It by Peaches is an awesome Romero inspired vid that is just hilarious. I'm pretty positive all of Iggy Pops energy comes from his magically shiny leather pants.
The latest Burnout game, Burnout Revenge if one hell of game sequel. Its an improvement on everything you didn't think needed improving. Yes, even the level of fun being had while playing is greater than the last game. Criterion is genius!
Been reading this fun book I found at Barnes the other day. It's called Gil's All Fright Diner. So far it's pretty damn entertaining. Kinda like those bad horror movies I love watching. But recently I opened up the to the dedication page and found something I didn't thing I'd ever see anywhere....
"This Book is dedicated to the following people in order of importance:
To Me, because I wrote it.
To Mom, without whom I probably wouldn't have.
To the men and women of the DFW Writer's Workshop.
Their wise advice made this book better, although I'll later deny I ever
said anything of the sort and claim this part of the dedication is a typo.
And to Don "The Dragon" Wilson"
That's right kids...it's an actual dedication to king B-martial arts-action-moviestar and 10 time world kickboxing champion Don Wilson.
SHOCK AND AWED!!!
