BACK 2 THA HOOD was the worst movie ever. I couldn't bring myself to watch all of it. I really had no idea of the existence of this everlasting Leprechaun franchise!

I ate at Applebee's because I was hoping they might have those crispy green bean fries appetizers. But alas, I guess those are still confined to Friday's, and I believe the nearest Friday's is in Roanoke. We didn't have the nachos at Applebee's though. We had the spinach & artichoke dip and I pretty much demolished the whole thing all by myself. Then I ate the Weight Watchers Confetti Chicken with steamed broccoli and Eric had this ridiculously good Tyler Florence burger. It came with garlic fries with huge flakes of cheese on them. MMMMMMM! I pretty much tried to eat his meal for him. Then we had the dreamsicle cake for dessert. The waitress laughed at Eric's drawings of hungry snowmen demolishing screaming children. It reminded me of Calvin & Hobbes!

Despite this smorgasbord of food, I'm down to my freshman year-weight! Which is back in the healthy range, but I'm still going to lose a tad more...

I'm leaving for Ireland on Sunday! Well, actually Monday, but I'm driving up to the DC area on Sunday to stay the night at Leigh's parents' house. I'm kind of nervous about that because a lot of people's parents don't seem to like me for some reason (with your mom being a nice exception, according to you anyway :). I'm not sure why I feel like parents don't like me, but they often don't, and often times they just flat out ignore me or even act condescending to me, like they think I'm a complete retard (maybe because I'm easily amused, or because I don't want a "real job"?). I wonder if I'm just a really boring kind of person.
Or it might be that parents can sense that I am in fact a demon sent from hell to ruin the purity of their children. Well damn, I was hoping to keep that covered up until it's time for me to bring about the Apocalypse!
